This was probably the last time I experienced anything care free. Like I have said before, I was on vacation. The co-op--study abroad plan. That has come back to bite me in the butt ten-fold. First came rush week, which left me with even less inclination to get any work done. But being back in school is a little different. Adjusting to classes, homework, studying, involvements, intramurals, fraternity, and just everything. It really teaches you a little something in time management. You are given the choice to choose fun over work. You will be challenged on a daily basis to endure caffeine and junk food. You have to decide for yourself how your choose to spend your time, who to spend your time with, and why even do it at all.
And for a finger update, I'm off injury reserve and ready to go. Perfect timing too as this weekend is brotherhood retreat and that means BROTHERHOOD FOOTBALL. What is it? It is our football game that we partake in every brotherhood retreat where boys become men, where cubs become bears, where baby lions become grown up lions, where eggs become chickens or roosters, where Bambi becomes big Bambi who isn't scared of the wild and meets Thumper and that skunk, where-- you guys get it.
Oh yeah, THE HUNGER GAMES.
